Prof. Eiji Nambara ranked among 19 U of T scholars recognized as one of the world’s most highly cited researchers!

Congratulations to Professor Eiji Nambara who was one of only 19 U of T scholars recognized as the most highly cited researchers by Thomson Reuters.  The distinction was given to ~3000 researchers globally who wrote the greatest numbers of publications officially designated by Essential Science Indicators℠ as Highly Cited Papers — ranking among the top 1% most cited for their subject field and year of publication.

Prof. Darrell Desveaux receives the 2014 C.D. Nelson Award in Plant Biology

Congratulations to Darrell Desveaux for being awarded the C.D. Nelson Award in Plant Biology from the Canadian Society of Plant Biologists. The Award is given for outstanding research contributions to plant biology, with special consideration given to originality and independence of thought. As part of the award, Darrell will give a special award seminar at the 2015 Annual Meeting for the Canadian Society for Plant Biology to be held in Edmonton AB.
