Course Description

This course will discuss molecular, cell biological, and developmental aspects of germline stem cells, gametes, gonads, and sex related traits and behaviour in animals, including invertebrates and vertebrates. Lectures and seminars focus on primary research articles to illustrate and critically evaluate recent scientific advancements in reproductive biology. Student presentations and discussions are a major component of this course.

Prerequisite

Minimum grade of 77% is required in CSB328H1 / CSB340H1 / CSB349H1/ MGY311H1 / MGY312H1
