Research Description
My teaching focus is on the use of classroom learning to improve experiential learning, and experiential learning to improve classroom learning. This focus creates a cycle between the two, which continually strengthens and expands student knowledge. Recently, I have also been developing and incorporating course-tailored generative AI tools to enhance this cycle. By leveraging the capabilities of AI, I aim to create innovative learning experiences that adapt to individual student needs and foster a deeper understanding of the subject matter. My scientific research interests include cancer, fibrosis, and COPA syndrome, with an emphasis on omics, experimental therapeutics, and translational science. Google Scholar
