Course Description
This course introduces students to major features of plant metabolism. The content includes genomics-based research on primary and secondary metabolism, and metabolism of plant hormones. This course covers plant physiology, natural product chemistry, genetics, molecular biology, and genomics. Topics also include strategies for designing how we modulate metabolic pathways and how we utilize plants for biotechnology through metabolic engineering.
